5. So I started to ask her if she had a partial clue ..lol so now she will say "I do not have a whole entire clue or a partial one either"..lol

6. When she was a few years younger she would fart and start laughing and say "I started".

7. She use to love the song " Proud to be an American" and she would sing it like this..." And.... I ....won't... forget ....the..... mannequin who gave that right to me."..lol

8. She likes to use the word apparently ALOT!!!

9. The funniest part about that is that she does not always use it in the right text..lol

10. It is cute that she does not "GET" the point of what makes a knock knock joke funny. So she will make up her own that makes no sense whatsoever and start laughing histarically. It is a riot...

11. I thought I could come up with thirteen so easily and now I am drawing a total blank...

12. So forgive me for cheating here ...lol Man I had a ton of them in my head the other day. As she gets older they are becoming less and less :(.

13. Tomorrow she turns 8 years old ,and I really hope she has atleast a few more years where she says cute things. It is so adorable.

American Idol...

Well I nailed the bottom three, thank goodness. Lisa needed to go so badly. I have not liked her since her audition really. Well I have never liked Ace either. While I usually like Katherine , her performance last night was just plain painful for me.





So I for one am glad that Lisa has left the building.Next week it needs to be Paris and then Ace....





They did terrible last night as a whole ..What was going on with them all? I mean they give them the 21 century to choose from and most of them flopped big time under that pressure. The only performances I liked were in this order: Bucky( loved it),Elliot( didn't love it , but liked it),Madessa ( had to give her props for bustin out with one of my favorite Christian songs and praising God for millions), then Chris...(Chris was borederline for me though).

I usually love Taylor but to tell the truth , when they were doing the recap I had totally forgot about him.

Paris I am so bored and over with it is not funny,Mcphever was REALLY ,REALLY bad last night.Kellie was ok... she didn't sing bad to me ...she just looked bored and had a very bad song choice.

So next week is country so that means that Bucky will stay another week .. YEAH!!! I still fail to see what all the HATERS have against him. Boo on you ...lol
I think he is a cutie and he can sing his butt off...

Chronicals of an exhausted mom

Zephra, from Chronicals of an exhausted mom, is my tenant this week. She is apparently a little frazzled lately and has been forgeting things left and right. None of us ever do that .....yeah right!!! I do the same thing all the time. She is a mom of 4 so you can imagine. She is also having hair issues which I am sure all of us ladies can relate to as well. She is debating a perm after just getting her hair cut short. I wonder...? Blogmad much?

Ok so I have been surfing BlogMad like a crazy person. I noticed that the credits run out very fast if you don't keep up with it.I really do not think I am winning the race though ..lol My hubby finally taught me how to up my allocation so that I can keep some.The funny thing is ...My credits are disappearing supposedly because my blog is in the rotation. Yet I have had only one comment to ever come from Blogmad.... and that one was before I had ever surfed ..lol What am I doing? Is it even worth the time spent surfing? I have found some cool blogs and commented on quite a few. I guess for that it is worth it. It is very, very hard to keep enough credits to keep you in rotation though.I think Blogmad needs a battle of the blogs like BE does... that would give us another way to earn credits. I don't know really ... I know I am rambling here..lol I just encourage you ,if you are here via Blogmad... and you come across this blog in the rotation to atleast say Hi,here via Blogmad ... I am conducting my own little test here. I use to run across myself while surfing BE all the time .. I have yet to do that here. Has anyone done that? I am so ready for the official season to start ...

It's a real good thing I do not drink...lol

So after pre Op yesterday we went to my allergist to get my allergy shot. I usually have to take a clarinex or alavert right before my shot so I do not have a bad reaction. welllll they did not have any around and had to give me Zyrtec..lol She might as well of handed me a fifth of whiskey. I mean I was so loopy ..lol Guppy and I went to Garden Ridge to look around for lil one's birthday... They had scrapbooking stuff way cheap and she LOVES to scrapbook. Anyway ...lolI could not control myself in there ..lol I was embarrassing myself. I kept trying to take Gups shirt off ...I had this huge fascination with his butt ..lol Apparently I did not embarass him enough because he wanted to look at every single thing in the store...lol By the time we left I was leaning on him about to fall asleep standing ... I know I had to be comical to anyone else looking at us ...She gave me another one for my next weeks shot. The funny thing is ... I usually take it at work about an hour before I get off ... I am thinking I will NOT be doing that next week ...lmao Although it might make work a little more fun ..hehehehe !!!

Anyway I have yet to metion my renter this week and it shows. I really need to pimp her blog today because she is leaving soon and has had very few visitors. So can you all do me a favor and be a pal and hop on over to visit Pupsickle... I really like her blog. She is funny:) and her doggie is adorable....Thanks in advance !!! Ya'll are the bestest....lol ...... Stormii out!!

Yeah! Pre Op is done ...The voice of truth

Yeah I am done with Pre Op and just waiting for April 12th which is my new surgery date. I thought they were going to do another EKG and chest x-ray and all that but they didn't ...yeah...All they did is ask me about 300 questions and took two viles of blood. Easy peasey,I have done it so much I can give blood in my sleep now ..lol I just hate how tight they have to tie the thing around your arm ...that is so uncomfy. I got a very friendly and VERY talkative nurse..lol I think it was driving Guppy crazy but she really put me at ease. My blood pressure was a little higher then normal and my heart rate was raised a little but she said not to worry ...it was probably just be being nervous. You know I pray all the time asking God to give me stregnth and peace ...I pray that I do not have a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. I read the verses I have highlighted for me through this.I listen to praise music and I know this all helps .. But I really need to stop being so hard on myself and realize that I am HUMAN. I get so frustrated sometimes if my blood pressure is slightly raised due to anxiety...Like I am not being obedient enough or praying enough ... I know God loves me and I know he knows I love him and that is what matters. I know God is full of grace and mercy but my flesh tends to take over at times. This is a good reminder for me. I wanted to share a song that has really been speaking to me the last few days. I have listened to it so many times but the last few days in particular it has really stirred my spirit.

American Idol, $Money$, and Thanks !!!!

Ok so Chris really rocked it last night. I loved his version of " walk the line " and I really liked Kelly's performance as well. A few of the others that I think are great singers are starting to bore me. Paris, Lisa for sure and Madesa.. They are all great but they bore me now. I love Bucky but he made a poor song choice last night . I hope he stays and redeems himself. I love Taylor and Elliot as well. hmmm let's see oh yes Kevin...WHY oh WHY is he here ...better yet why is he STILL here ?He really needs to go but I have a feeling he won't leave yet.

I am predicting the bottom three to be Bucky,Paris, and Lisa ... I hope Lisa leaves ...I think she should ( not before Kevin but we know the tweens are keeping him in) but I dread that it may just be Bucky.

Well I am off to get some dinner before church and it seems that after we paid my bills yesterday for all the testing they did to me...they owe me money ...yippee , gotta love that :)

I have been praying for financial favor through all this .God is so very faithful.
I am going tomorrow for my pre OP testing ... prayers are welcomed and greatly appreciated. Thanks to all of you that have prayed and continue to do so . It means so much more then I could ever express. Thanks to all that have marked it on calenders. It is awesome to know how many people care.

kabob virgins and chocolatey goodness

Man oh man!!!!!!! .....We got home from work today and it was a beautiful evening.It is officially Spring and what a great night to start it off with. We get home and Gup was so wanting to grill out ,it was the perfect evening for it. So we were trying to decide what to eat ,like usual, and came up with kabobs... Neither of us have ever even attempted to make or cook a kabob before ....So I call the expert...My dad. I get the run down on how to do it and off we go .... Man they are as fun to make as they are to eat. I really enjoyed them. We did find out that potatoes are not the best thing for one. It just takes way to long for a potatoe to cook,especially on the grill. They were way to hard to eat. I would have also liked the onions to have been a little more done, but all in all they were yummy. The pineapple on the other hand...was sooooo juicy,it was fabulous. Does anyone know the trick to getting the veggies and the meat just right together?

While at the grocery the strawberries looked so good so I got some for dessert. I can not eat strawberries without Cool Whip ...So I go over to get me some.... and I found this.



OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! That is all I can say about this stuff. I didn't know it even exsisted. Why hasn't anyone told me about this yummy, chocolatey,whipped goodness before? You guys have been holding back on me. I combined it with my wonderful strawberries and it is what I imagine they will feed us in Heaven...It was that good.



yes I know it is in a toddler plate..lol I love this plate for this very reason. It is the only one we have that is divided like that.

I really really recommend all of you go out and try chocolate Cool Whip ...My oh MY!!! You can eat this stuff right out of the container with a spoon and it tastes like fluffy light mousse...MMMMMmmmMMMmmmMMm!!! I remember eating regular Cool Whip frozen and pretending it was ice cream when I was a kid... hey it was cheap ..lol

Uhhhh...Oh yeah ...lol

Well the weekend is almost over. Isn't it funny how the week likes to creep but the weekend goes by at lightning speed?...lol

Gup's dad did come down yesterday and spent the night with us. It was quite the unexpected surprize. It was very cool.I love to see Gup and his dad bond. It is something that was very far from there as a child. It is awesome to see him put aside his hurt feelings as a child and embrace his father like he was always there. God is good...

It did force us to clean out the guest room and assemble the bed..lol That is something that needed done for my mom and mema's arrival. I am so happy that they will be here for my surgery.( Thank you again to my wonderful MIL for making that happen...God uses her so often. She is the most giving person I have ever met.So compassionate and caring of others and thier needs)

His dad also informed me that he will be driving up here to be there as well. Wow ...you never know how loved you are until something like this happens... It has really been a blessing to me to see how many people care. How many people tell me that they have added me to thier church's prayer list or are keeping me in thier prayers. People that have added the surgery date and time to thier calender. That is so awesome to me. God is so very awesome.

I am sitting here listening to Guppy learn to play "I'll fly away" on guitar. He is so cute ...lol He is coming up with yet another version of that song ...If you do not know it you really should check it out by Jars of Clay.

I often times wish I was musically talented. I listen to Gup, lil one, and his mom talk music lingo and it is so beyond me ..lol It amazes me how they can hear when things are out of tune or off key like with the piano.

Wow I went off on a HUGE tangent....LOL he is cracking me up over here with his Zeppelin like version of I'll fly away ..lol Maybe I should not attempt to post while listening to him....lol

ok I am off now ...I lost my train of thought...

Spring Fever

Yeah, it is the weekend!!! The last few days of last week seemed to drag on. I guess because earlier in the week I was doing a different job and time flew by. The last two days of the week I was back to mine with not anything pressing to do and I was bored. I fond I like working under pressure. I like haveing more to do then I think I can get done in an 8 hour period. That way time flies and I don't have time to sit around thinking about all the things at home I need to be doing.

Speaking of things at home ...This weekend Gup and I both got Spring fever. We are so ready to get working in the yard again. I love to...It is so relaxing to me. I love to do it when it's nice outside. Not to hot or cold. A light breeze with the sun shining. Today it is overcast and cool, but I am going to pretend it is beautiful and sunny ..lol

I am so ready to get started. I need to weed,trim,transplant and plant. We have this beautiful passion flower vine that we need to plant from last year. We went to the Houston Garden Center and the vines were 25 dollars and here we have one that some one gave us a piece of, just sitting outside the back door in newspaper...So we will be finding a spot for that today. I think I am going to open the windows to the house ....crank up some tunes and start cleaning like crazy then get out and go to town on the yard.

here is a picture of one. Aren't they stunning. They are one of my very favorite. I really like the purple ones. We had beautiful purple ones at our last house and for some reason did not think to take some with us. I wonder if Gup's ex still has it. It is worth asking if she does and if we can have a piece of it. I think I will find that out!!!



We may also get a visit from Gup's Dad...his wife is in California for a wedding and the poor thing is bored. So he said he may drive up and hang out for a bit. That would be cool. He lives only like 4 hours away but we only see each other a few times a year. Sometimes it's nice to see family that lives a little distance just because. no holiday ...no birthday ...just because :)

Wonder Woman!!!

My new tenant had me at wonder woman. As soon as I saw her template I was hooked. One of my childhood heros was of course WONDER WOMAN!!!!! I had a WW bathing suit and wore that thing out. I mean I wore it until it was basically see thru... When I put it on I WAS wonder woman in my own mind. It was awesome. I had so many adventures. I battled the bad guys and saved the world on many occasion..lol Just seeing her template brought back some great childhood memories for me. The coolest is after I turned 18 and met my biological father, he told me I was related to her. This was before I told him how much I LOVED her as a child. He was real into genealogy. I was excited to say the least.How cool is it that my childhood hero is a very distant relative... I think it's totally cool :) It would have been even better if I would have met her at some point and got an autograph... All I have now are memories and two wonder woman barbies...lol

So go on over and say howdy to my new tenant... It looks like she just roughed out a storm ....How funny huh, seeing as she is renting from me :)..lol anyway I am just being silly now. Have a great night all ....

Marriage

I got tagged last month ...( yes I know I am a little slow in getting to it) by Eph2810. It was a Valentine Meme about marriage... The questions were :"What's one thing you have learned to do differently to make your marriage better? Or one thing you think is important to a good marriage?".

Well Guppy and I have both been married before. We have both learned what not to do in a marriage ,which is great. Alot of people would be bitter and resentful to thier ex-spouse. Guppy and I are both very grateful for the fact that they both have taught us what we do not want in a spouse/marriage. That is a great thing. I believe that our first marriages are one reason that we are the way we are with each other...


So that being said ...everything we do has made this marriage different,and here is how. Also here are things I think are most important in making a good marriage.

I believe that THE most important thing to not only a good marriage but a GREAT marriage is God. I believe that HE above all comes first.I believe that you both should be evenly yoked... I have seen so many marriage that were not,and it is so hard on it. I believe when both spouses have the understanding that you come second to God it is an awesome thing. Then I believe that you have got to put your marriage/each other above all else. Yes I am meaning kids,friends, family and everything else. I know most will say Whaooooooooo my kids come first no matter what. That is ok for you ...but I believe that without a strong marriage and foundation to set that example ...You are hurting your child in thier development of relationships. Children will imitate what they see. They will more often then not ...Do what you do more then what you say. You have to lead by example just like you do as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I have seen so many marriages end because one spouse orthe other is obsessed with thier childresn lives. They are so consumed in everything thier child wants or is doing that they have no time for each other.

I believe that you have to have a great deal of respect for each other. You have to be very willing to forgive and not dwell on each others shortcomings. You have to learn to praise the other for thier strengths. I am not saying that is always easy. Lord knows it is not at all easy at times.

I also believe that prayer is a very VERY important part of a great marriage. There is some serious power in praying for your spouse. You have to also be willing to pray for yourself. For God to change you as well.

I beleieve that intimacy is so important. I beleieve that you need that daily.I am not just talking about sex,although that is important. I mean little things that only you two share. Like the fact that when Guppy and I hug sometimes we will just both start dancing in the embrace to music that we both here in our hearts. It is always a very intimate moment. There are things you can do that strengthen that bond that take only seconds. Sometimes a look, a kiss, a hug, a word. Each couple is different, I am sure you get the point.

Last but certianly not least I believe to have a successful and GREAT marriage. The woman must submit to her husband. The man must be the head of the household. That is the way God ordained it to be and that is the way it must be. There is awesome power in submission. You can change the heart of a man just by your love and fear of the Lord. He will see that shining through you.I don't think that means that you must bow to him and he is the one that must do it all ,as you wait on him hand and foot. I do believe that he is to lead the family. I believe that you can have an opinion but ultimately he makes the final decision. I believe that wholeheartedly. In the same respect I believe that does not give the husband the right to be demannding and abusive, but quite the contrary. I believe he should treat the woman with the utmost respect. He should treat her like a delicate flower. He should love her with every thing he has.

T.G.I.F.

Well it is friday and I somehow managed to not post all week.It has been a busy week to say the least. It seemed that everyday was rush ,rush ,rush and not enough time in a day to get everything I needed or wanted to, done. I think I need to be more disciplined in spending quality time with God daily. I have his word around me daily ... through my watching Joyce Meyers in the morning ,and the Christian radio station I listen to all day ,but I mean really spending time every single day to read the word and chit chat with God. I beleive if I would do that that, he would bless the rest of the time in the day. Kind of like tithing but with time instead of money. I need to become a better steward of my time. I think I will make that a self challenge :)

Anyway ...enough of that babbling.

It is Friday and I miss my best ( girl) friend.( Of course my husband is my BEST friend). She is having fun hanging out with the Astros in Florida during spring training.She has been gone all week and will be gone one more week.WAHHH!!!..lol No but seriously... I am super happy for her. This is her first real vacation,but I miss her terribly. I miss her at church ...and I miss her at work. I miss chatting with her daily.

I got my blood work back and it was all awesome . PRAISE God for answering prayers left and right.They have switched surgeons on me again..lol AGAIN...but that is ok ...I know God is in control of everything and I am trusting in him and him alone.

I have missed all of you and I am sorry I have not been around to you guys in days.

Please help me keep my parents in your prayers. My dad hurt his back real bad last week at work. He had an MRI done and will get the test results Tuesday. The nurse thought he had scoliosis ( I know that is so not spelled right) he looked THAT bad apparently. My poor daddy.

They are in the process of buying thier first home. They have been the caretakers of a Church Retreat for like 10 years now ...So this is pretty huge for them. My mom had to get a "real" job...I say that meaning ...a job that has set hours and days.

My super wonderful MIL,being the very very selfless and giving person that she is ....is flying my mother out here for my surgery. My Mema ( grandmother) is coming as well. I am so thrilled they will be here for me. The bad side to that is my dad being hurt and the whole new house thing all happening right now. She is a wee bit stressed but knows that God has it under control.

That is sure a wonderful thing to know...

Let's see ....well that is all I can think of right now ...my brain is tired even..lol I think I am going to go relax a bit and I will try and stay up with this thing a little better.

God is so faithful

Yesterday was awesome. Guppy had been wondering if his Baptism as a child actually counted. He was not sure what God's view on Baptism was and we had been praying for God to reveal to him what it was. We went and picked lil one up from her mom's to take her. She had been wanting to see a Baptism for awhile now and she was super excited to finally get to. I love her excitment about experiencing God, it is so awesome. Anyway the coolest thing about it all, was this...We get to church and the sermon was called...Did my Baptism count? It was awesome and so very informative. The pastor revealed to Guppy exactly what he had questions about. He was ready right then to run up with the three people getting Baptised and do it then ...lol I am so happy that God answered that prayer with a sermon just for Gup ...That is what it felt like anyway ..lol

He has his Baptism packet and will be doing that this year ....I will have to take lots of pictures and maybe video tape it and try to post that. I think the next set of Baptisms are in June... I wanted to post the sermon link on here incase there were others out there that have questions about Baptism... Don't just listen to what the pastor has to say and draw your conclusion though ...Read the verses that talk about it and pray. God will reveal to you what it is he means by it. Little one is wanting to get Baptised but she is still not fully aware of what it all means yet. We are teaching her that the most important thing is to first accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. To know he died on the cross for your sins ...and that by his Grace you are saved. She is still young though and we have great hope for her. She is so hungry for the knowledge and she loves Jesus already. It is so awesome to watch. I think the greatest thing you can ever do as a parent is help develop and guide your child spiritually. In the end...Nothing else will really matter. It will not matter how big of a house you lived in , what toys you were able to buy them ...how many trips you can take them on ...but what you taught them about Christ will mean everything. How you helped them along on thier own spiritual journey is what counts.

I went in to see my regular Dr. today ..I have accumulated quite a gaggle of them lately..lol
Anyway my blood pressure was awesome ..Yeahhhhh that was an answered prayer for sure because it had been elevated the last few Dr. visits. My EKG was "perfect", she said, and my breathing test was amazingly good. I say that because it sounded like it would be awful with my weezing and all. God is so faithful. I wanted to let everyone know that has been keeping up. Thank you for your prayers. I got a chest x-ray today , I go get blood drawn tomorrow morning. I am praying all my levels are perfect and my x-ray is excellent. I will get those results in about a week.

Have a great Friday night guys... I am off to eat dinner before I have to start fasting for blood work...

Sting My Heart...

I would like to take this time to welcome one of my very favorite bloggers. Eph2810 over at Sting My Heart is my new tenant for this week and I am thrilled. I rented from her last week and found some very awesome new bloggers to read. I am hoping to do the same for her. Not only is she smart, creative, and funny but she is very spiritual as well. She has been praying for me and keeping up with me on this journey that I am now on.
