I finally got around to wanting to create it. I went searching high and low ( or at least scouring digi sites..lol) for the perfect robot for my card. I found one that I thought was perfect, but the site was closed until after the new year fro Christmas break. :( ... Heart broken, I moved on until I found this one from Pink Cat Studio. He is quite a cutie, yes?
I used the following on the card:
Image- Boy Robot by Pink Cat Studio ( digi) + a sentiment I created in PS Elements
Stampin up Very Vanilla for card baseStampin up Classic Stampin' Pad - Taken with Teal for graphic paper piece
Stampin up Jumbo wheel- *not sure of the name* for the bigger background piece
Pixie Stix Glitter Tube - Lemonade
Spellbinders Nestabilities- Wonky squares
Sizzix embossing folder - RETRO CIRCLES BY TIM HOLTZ
Paper - MME breeze, Adornit Carolee's creations- Seasons ( August cut apart),& Adornit Bobby and Betty- run
gear stickers I had in my stash and I do not remember what brand they are.
Twine- Maya Road - saffron yellow
Copics used were C0, C1, C3, BG10, R20
Very cute! The shading on your robot looks cool, and I love how you added a phrase to his little panel there...

Love your card (and the 80's vibe!) I'm preparing article for Papercrafters Library with a "Robot" theme & would like to feature your card. The article will link back to your site. http://blog.papercrafterslibrary.com/
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower. I found you through The Outlawz forum.

I'm a fan of Styx and love that song....... spent hours singing it in my late teens.... What a great inspiration for a card, just shows you that you never know where you are going to get your next inspiration from.
