You can preorder your copy now ...You can do that by going here.

I also found this which was very cool...you can go here and click on "Enter Narnia"...This would be something you and your child could do together.

One of my very favorite links is this one, it is about some chritian artists and thier songs that were inspired by this awesome movie. This link allows you to listen to the songs as well. It includes artists such as Jars of Clay ( one of my favorites), Rebecca St. James,Steven Curtis Chapman,and Jeremy Camp along with others. Click on over and check it out...

Sinuses and Milk

"If your kids suffer from chronic runny noses and sore throats, it might be time to dump the dairy. According to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, cow’s milk is the number one-cause of food allergies in children. According to the former director of pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Frank Oski, there is evidence to indicate that up to half of U.S. children have some allergic reaction to milk. For these kids (and for adults who are allergic to dairy foods), milk is a mucus maker and can lead to persistent problems such as chronic coughs and sinus infections, asthma, and ear infections.

More and more physicians and dietitians realize that removing dairy products from the diet can be the solution to many childhood illnesses such as runny noses, constipation, colic, ear infections, and gas—and the list goes on."
( I got this from this article)

I watched a show not to long ago about the effects that milk and dairy in general have on people that suffer with sinus problems. I know I was always told as a child that I could not have milk if I had a cold because it would produce more mucus and possibly lead to a sinus infection. We have taken lil one to be tested for allergies and she tested negative for any at all. Guppy said she was tested around age 3 and was allergic to all kinds of stuff. The allergist did say that in some kids between ages 7 and 9 that it was possible to actually have allergies but for the testing to come back negative. Everyone that is around the child can pretty much give you a list of things that she is allergic to by the way that child reacts to things. She can be in the grass or petting a cat and her eyes will swell up get bright red and have dark black circles under them. I am really starting to think she may also be allergic to milk. I notice everytime she has milk she ends up with either a runny nose or worse. I know this last time she spent time with one of her grandmothers and said she had a huge glass of milk with her cake.Very few days later she has a fever of 102.9 and turns out it was an ear infection and sinus infection. She just got over having a bad ear infection in December. I really do believe this dairy thing has something to it. We always keep her from drinking milk here because she is almost always atleast runny. I hesitate to give it to her at all because everytime she has an appointment with the allergist/sinus doctor she has a lot of sinus pressure.( They check this with a machine they stick in her ear) She is so use to it they said that she doesn't complain of it bothering her. I hate to add to that mucus producing by letting her have milk. I know my MIL is always saying she is affraid that she is not getting enough calcium but there are so many other ways to get her that. One being the OJ plus calcium and she drinks a ton of that as well. I am really curious to see if anyone else has had this issue? Either with themsleves or thier child? I think I am going to bring this up to her doctor and see what he has to say about it, I am really very very curious.

here are a few more links I found about it:

Leave it with God....

I was ready to post a few things tonight, and then I read this (CLICK HERE-->)post(<--Click there) of my husbands,and I felt it needed a reply. I understand that you are worried. It is hard for anyone, no matter how strong your faith, to see someone they love go through something like this. I know that you are only human and as much as you have been my rock of faith in so many instances....it is ok to admit when you are not strong. We are all weak. We are human and that is what is so very awesome about God's grace. As much as he loves for us to cast or cares on him and let go of all control. He realizes we are human and that is why he gave us his Son. You can do all things through Christ who stregthens you. It is a process. Anyone that has known me for any good length of time, knows I was one of the worlds biggest worry warts. I was terrible with that area of my life. I would worry about everything. I also was enslaved by fear for many years. By the grace of God I do not have that now. Atleast not at this point in time with this situation. I do not worry about what is going to happen to me because I know that I know that HE is in total control. It has not been easy...God had taken me on a long spiritual journey to get to this point. I believe that he did walk me through it instead of just taking it from me so that I might know that it was through HIM and HIM alone. It was nothing in and of myself that got me to this point. The only advise I can give you baby is this. Lean on God's word. Not on your own understanding. And let the Peace of God that passes all understanding be yours. I pray for you every single day. Everyday, that you will surrender your worry and fears to him. It will happen. God is a very faithful God. I wanted to leave you with this scripture that God gave me at the beginning of my journey of being set free from that anxiety.....It has helped me in the times when Satan would attempt to take my peace from me. I truly believe that by the stripes of Jesus ..I am healed, and that God will be glorified through all this. I want to thank you for sticking right by my side through all of this and I thank God for you everyday.

Psalm 118

1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.

2 Let Israel say:
"His love endures forever."

3 Let the house of Aaron say:
"His love endures forever."

4 Let those who fear the LORD say:
"His love endures forever."

5 In my anguish I cried to the LORD,
and he answered by setting me free.

6 The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?

7 The LORD is with me; he is my helper.
I will look in triumph on my enemies.

8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in man.

9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in princes.

10 All the nations surrounded me,
but in the name of the LORD I cut them off.

11 They surrounded me on every side,
but in the name of the LORD I cut them off.

12 They swarmed around me like bees,
but they died out as quickly as burning thorns;
in the name of the LORD I cut them off.

13 I was pushed back and about to fall,
but the LORD helped me.

14 The LORD is my strength and my song;
he has become my salvation.

15 Shouts of joy and victory
resound in the tents of the righteous:
"The LORD's right hand has done mighty things!

16 The LORD's right hand is lifted high;
the LORD's right hand has done mighty things!"

17 I will not die but live,
and will proclaim what the LORD has done.

18 The LORD has chastened me severely,
but he has not given me over to death.

19 Open for me the gates of righteousness;
I will enter and give thanks to the LORD.

20 This is the gate of the LORD
through which the righteous may enter.

21 I will give you thanks, for you answered me;
you have become my salvation.

22 The stone the builders rejected
has become the capstone;

23 the LORD has done this,
and it is marvelous in our eyes.

24 This is the day the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.

25 O LORD, save us;
O LORD, grant us success.

26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD.
From the house of the LORD we bless you. [a]

27 The LORD is God,
and he has made his light shine upon us.
With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession
up [b] to the horns of the altar.

28 You are my God, and I will give you thanks;
you are my God, and I will exalt you.

29 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.

Wife Swap??!!

Now ,as much as I like watching this show. I really truly do not understand why these women agree to do it. I mean I know some feel unappreciated and want their husbands to realize how much they do around the house. Some think they can enlighten others with their whacked out lifestyle. The thing that I do not get is this. If you are having problems in your marriage or with your kids or whatever...Do you really think that going to live with complete strangers for two weeks is going to help? I mean everyone has their own way of living. Their own routine or lack there of. I would NOT want to swap lives with anyone I know. I do not know if maybe it is because of the fact that I love my husband very much. I enjoy spending time with him and enjoy our life together that makes me think " no way would I do that". Maybe it is the relationship I have with God that makes me sincerely grateful for what I have and I do not think the grass is greener on the other side. If the grass IS greener on the other side...I don't care ..lol I would rather keep my less green grass right where I am. I mean I am still a newlywed really. We were married Nov.11,2004 and I realize that marriage takes work and compromise and it is not all a bowl of cherries everyday. Guppy and I do not fight. We do disagree about certain things ,but we usually agree to disagree. We love being together and never get tired of it. We actually really miss each other so much when we have to go to work ..lol I think this fact drives my MIL crazy sometimes..lol There have been times when she has wanted to take me somewhere that Guppy refuses to go ( like the Nutcracker) but I have no desire to spend a night without him. Or to experience anything new without him. Now as sappy as it all sounds we do have very different views on some things. Like, I ...left to my own devices would clean constantly or at least until things were like I thought they should be. Guppy on the other hand ..welll....lol as much as he waits on me hand and foot while I am sick and sometimes when I am not ( he really is a very attentive husband) ...would let the house pile to the roof with dirty dishes,trash and what not. I have never understood this about him.(Except the laundry,we both suck at keeping up with this one)...lol He is not a lazy person by far. He is always doing something. He loves his little projects, but unless I specifically ask him or unless I ,myself ,am cleaning... he just won't. He cleans great if I am too...But as far as taking initiative to do so ...it's not happening..lol You know what though ...There still is NO way that I would trade him or want to live with some strange guy with his kids for two weeks or even a day...

I really am curious as to what you all think about that ...

Would you swap lives with someone that you have no idea about for two weeks?

All things Alphabet...

Ok so I have recently discovered that I am totally obsessed with alphabets. No I am not talking children's songs or soup here. Scrap booking letters. I love them in all shapes, sizes and textures. I have a huge collection of alphabet stickers but I am finding so many different kinds.

They have brads,chipboard,stamps,tags,and all sorts of very cool ways to add words to your pages.I was on a quest to find some very cool FREE fonts to change it up a bit also. I can use them to print out titles and do my journaling when I do not want to hand write it. I do think that handwriting in some cases is best and I still try to add a little of that on each page regardless, but sometimes you just want something different...something with a little pizzazz.

Here are some links to some free font sites that I found:

Dafont

1001 Free Fonts

2peas in a bucket( great scrapbooking resource)

Here is the latest layout that I did...I used one my new found fonts on this one.
I scribbled out our last name that is why it looks all jacked up.

you can't read the metal embellishments that run down the left side but they are engraved and they say :
hope,love,dream,inspire.... then the charm in the upper right hand corner says believe...

and of course running down the right side is the cool font that I found..

and the name of the layout is " you are my soul mate"

the picture is one that we took while at the zoo last year. I would have never even thought of scrappin' this one but it is one of Guppy's favorite for some reason...

If you have any great resources please feel free to leave me the link in the comment section!!!

P.S. Don't forget to run by and wish Brian over at Across the Pond goodbye :(

Attn: Acknowledge Dept.:

I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels.

My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, "This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received."
I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.
Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.

The angel then said to me, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them."

I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth.

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there, idly doing nothing. "This is the Acknowledgment Section," my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed. "How is it that? There's no work going on here?" I asked.

"So sad," the angel sighed. "After people receive the blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments.

"How does one acknowledge God's blessings?" I asked.

"Simple," the angel answered. "Just say, "Thank you, Lord."

"What blessings should they acknowledge?" I asked.

"If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep ... you are richer than 75% of this world. "If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

"And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity."

Also ..

"If you woke up this morning with more health than illness .. you are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day.

"If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ... you are ahead of 700 million people in the world.

"If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death ... you are envied by, and more blessed than, three billion people in the world.

"If your parents are still alive and still married . you are very rare.

If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you are unique to all those in doubt and despair."

Ok, what now? How can I start?

If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very special and you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all.

Have a good day, count your blessings, and if you want, pass this along to remind everyone else how blessed we all are.

Attn: Acknowledge Dept.: Thank You Lord!
"Thank you Lord, for giving me the ability to share this message and for giving me so many wonderful people to share it with

This, that and the other ....

Well it's offical...I am now sick :(...I stayed home with lil angel for two days and got myself sick now..lol I would always much rather be the one sick when she is. I do not count both of us being sick together as the same ..lol

Guppy is STILL loving his Valentine present and also discovered how to use the video feature on his moms borrowed digital...so HERE is the result of that...go on over and check it out.

I love my church! Have you ever had one of those days when you felt so just BLAH that you really could care less what you looked like,as long as you were comfy. Yesterday was that day for me.I barely got dressed ,brushed my teeth and hair...lol So I went to church with a head feeling like it was shoved full of cotton balls, a runny nose and itchy eyes. I wore sweats,a t-shirt with a sweatshirt over it. We walked in like everything was normal got to worship, shook some hands ,and noone batted an eye to the fact that I looked like something the cat just drug in off the street. Everyone does their own thing ...I love it. I love that you can even walk in after church has started ,and the whole congregation doesn't stop to turn around and watch you take that what seems like 50 mile walk to the pew. It is awesome...

I also did another scrap layout recently and thought I would share it :).
I am about to attept my first ever layout of Guppy.I will post that one if it turns out decent. I really should get a bunch of pictures of him with his beloved lightsaber and do a Star Wars layout ...oh yeah that would rock...Hmmmm I think I may just have something there ..lol

Count your blessings!!!

Have you ever had one of those days that you really thought God was trying to show you just how blessed you really are? How you should be thankful for everything you have. I am not just talking materialistic here either. I mean thankful you woke up and can see,hear,breathe,etc... Thankful for your family. As well as everything God trusts you with like your house,car etc...

Today was so like that for me today. I went in to work only to find out that a friend (one that I hang out with daily) was in the hospital. Apparently his house caught fire last night and he is in the hospital for smoke inhalation. he called me from the hospital sounding like Darth Vader. He is talking through a breathing machine. They are giving him breathing treatments every two hours. He said he is not feeling very good which can definitely be expected. The very cool thing about all this was the blessing that God gave them. he said his oldest son ( 9 years old) did not have school today so he let him and their 3 yr. old stay up and watch a movie. He said the 9yr. old fell asleep but not the 3 yr. old ...That is how they knew that the living room was on fire. Thank The Lord that little boy knew to run and tell his parents. That is such a blessing because that kid barely talks. My friend Mike got all three of his kids and his wife out of the house safely but now is in the hospital recovering.When he called me today and I asked what he needed ,all he asked for was prayer. I told him to count on lots of that for sure. So if you would all help me pray for that family and for a fast recovery for Mike it would be so appreciated.

The day of counting my blessings did not stop there. Guppy's co-worker's daughter got in a car accident. I got that news pretty soon after the other. She has a mild concussion but is resting and doing good from the news I last got. Still was a scary situation there for a bit.

Thennnnnn a lady from work that has been out for awhile with what they thought was a brain aneurysm but turned out to be a vessel burst at the base of her brain or something. She came in via her husband today being pushed in a wheelchair. It was so pitiful seeing her in that state. She actually looked like she was born mentally retarded. She could talk a little but I really don't think she knew who any of us talking to her actually were. I have been praying for her for awhile now, I am praying for a full recovery for her. She has been going through rehab now. The problem is that she is regaining some memory and she keeps trying to get up and walk,thinking that she can. We just need to pray for her care, safety and full recovery.

I am just SOOOOO very thankful to God for all my many ,many blessings.

*****UPDATE!!!******

Guppy and I ,along with my friend Nicole and her brother ,went to see Mike tonight in the hospital. We gave him a hard time and told him he didn't have to be so dramatic to get out of inventory at work ..lol He laughed. He was in good spirits. Still had his crazy sense of humor which is awesome. He is such a nut I was glad to see he still is. All they lost was pretty much the tv,stereo,x-box,playstation,dvd player ...etc....The living room is gone. We all agreed that is way better then it could have been. ie... the kids etc...He has suffered some damage to the lungs so they are watching him closely. Please keep him in your prayers.

I am so jealous....

A friend of mine back home in Kentucky sent me these pictures of his little girl playing in the 6 inches of snow that they got.I am so jealous!!!I so miss having white winters.I LOVE getting snowed in.Call me crazy ..lol I have been snowed in a few times and it is awesome.The whole town stops pretty much and everyone plays in the snow.It is a very fond memory for me.It is no fun driving back and forth to work in it when you finally can,but fun nonetheless.I love the way it looks ...Notice how awesome the trees look.Man I would so be out with my digital taking very artsy pics right now ..lol

I long for snow days that I can build a snowman that big...I will have to dig up some pictures of the itty bitty snowmen we made two Christmas Eve's ago when we actually got snow here on the Gulf Coast...Now that is some funny stuff...

I laughed at this snowman because it is exactly like my friends personality ...It is awesome.His lil girl looks scared though ...lol Maybe she just thinks the snow man is dressed to tacky to be posing with ..lol

I had my cake ...and WORE it too!!!

I promised I would post these pics when I got them developed ...Last friday at work they bought me a cake:

and then proceeded to trick me while shoving my face in it,with my glasses ON!!!lol ...

Then a friend grabbed them to clean them off for me because I couldn't see..lol I ran to the bathroom to clean the cake out of my nostrils and off my face ...after we all got a good laugh of course.I get to the bathroom and all the stalls were full...OF COURSE!!!..lol So I am standing in the bathroom waiting for someone to get done because the week before our manager decides it is better for the envirnment if we just have hand dryers....So I stand looking like an idiot as people come in .It was all good though ...It was fun and made for a cool scrap layout ...Yes I have already scrapped it.Maybe I will post that layout sometime.Hope you all had a great week!!!

Have a great Weekend !!!

P.S. NO I did not wear that flower in my hair on purpose..A friend stuck it in my hair that day as part of my birthday attire..Along with pink and green streamers they taped to my butt...I wore them both all day ...What can I say ,I am silly and a good sport:)

Well I have not gotten my pics that we took while at work ,back from the photo lab yet.I will post about my birthday morning later for that reason.I mentioned in yesterdays post (that is all messed up btw...Blogger was hatin me yesterday.It kept erasing my post and now it won't allow comments)that I has the Best Birthday ever ...There has been so many people that made it a very special one this year.One of them being my awesome husband, Guppyman...he gave me a gift that is priceless...It is one of those gifts that keep on giving.I am so excited and really thinking about doing some scrappin today :) he built me a scrapbooking workshop basically.My MIL said it will be like living in Michael's ..lol I agree...It really does Rock.It is not finished yeat but here is what it looks like so far.Yes ,I have totally started moving in and he doesn't even have the two counter tops bolted together yet.I am so bad I know.here is a sneak peek at what it looks like so far ...minus the upper shelves that he is going to build:

This year I got something from everything that I like.Here is a list of what I got.
My mom bought me my polorized sunglasses that I really, really wanted and needed.She also sent me a series of Graham Cooke DVD's.Some worship cd's,some detox tea,some herbal foot lotion and some other arbonne lotion.

I got a cactus and a miniture rose bush from two co-workers.

Some Bath and Body works from a co -worker.

I got an awesome gift basket of scrapbooking goodies from my best friend, Nicole...here is a picture of that:

I got a "sweet honeysuckle" Yankee candle from a co-worker

a new cool touch bagel toaster form a co-worker( this was on my birthday wishlist that they made me create)

scrapbooking stuff from my SIL...

A Minnie Mouse Barbie from a friend

A very awesome frame that Lil one made..( that was my favorite but shhh don't tell anyone )...Guppy said it was all her.She picked out the color, wanted glitter ...colored the lil flower herself( it looks like really cool camo to me)and she even picked the picture to go in it herself.I LOVE it. She is such an awesome kid and so creative.I can not wait for her and I to sit down and do some scrapbooking together.

My very wonderful MIL surprized me totally with an official LANCE BERKMAN jersey.I was THRILLED!!! I put it on immediately and wore it the whole night.She also wrote a very beautiful and heartfelt post on me for my birthday.I was very touched.You can read it here if you are interested.She also got me some scrapbooking stickers...I made out like a bandit with scrapbooking stuff...YEAHH!!!

Also thanks to Butterfly in Jesus (Melissa ) and Ficken Chingers (Angie ) for such great birthday posts for me as well...Thanks to all of you that made my birthday so awesome!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Hey everybody! This is Guppyman invading to wish the most beautiful woman in the world HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

I figured what a better time to restate what I promised to Stormii just a short time ago on our wedding day-

The first time I saw you in person-
I knew that we were meant to be together.
You were already my best friend-
And you've become so much more.
All my life I knew I was searching for something.
I no longer feel like I'm searching.
I found you and I found Christ~
I feel complete.
Thank you for being one of the pieces I was missing.
You have accepted me like no one ever has~
you've taken the bad with the good~
And we've grown into something I never thought possible.
Thank you for becoming part of my family.
Thank you for accepting Lil-Angel like she was your own.
I thank God every day that he put us together.
I have never experienced such a wonderful feeling!
Such love~
Such joy~
As I have since I met you.
I want to promise you that I will always be here for you~
That I will always love you~
No matter what.
Thank you for being all that you are
and thank you for helping me be all that I am~
I love you Stormii
I want you to know that you truly have
made me the happiest man on Earth today~
I will do my best to see that you
remain the happiest woman.
Thank you.

Football Made Easy ..lol

Football FINALLY makes sense.......... A guy took his blonde girlfriend
to her first football game. They had great seats right behind their
team's bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience.

Oh, I really liked it," she replied, "especially the tight pants
and all the big muscles, but I just couldn't understand why they were
killing each other over 25 cents."

Dumbfounded, her date asked, "What do you mean?"

Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of
the game, all they kept screaming was: 'Get the quarterback! Get the
quarterback!' I'm like...Helloooooo? It's only 25 cents!!!!

You Bless Me

It has been awhile since I've blogged. Does anyone still blog anymore? I used to blog daily and look forward to visiting all my blog fri...
