One year Anniversary & My Lesbian pet

Well today marks the one year Anniversary of us buying and moving into this house :)

It has been a productive day but my allergies and asthma are paying for it .I am highly allergic to dust and my asthma is allergy induced so FUN FUN for me ..lol I got smart today FINALLY and bought me some masks ..I had to wear one at work all day ...lmao It was either look goofy wearing a Dr.'s mask all day or not be able to breathe ....needless to say I chose breathing ..lol It is amazing the looks and questions you get while wearing one ..People would ask me what was wrong and back up like they were going to catch something ..lol I came very very close to pinning a sign to myself saying " I have allergy induced asthma ..I am not contagious " Guppy said I should have told them all I was allergic to stupid questions ..lol Anyway ,we are in the home stretch of my house cleaning spree and my moms arrival .She arrives Thursday afternoon ,I am so excited :) YEAH!!!

P.S. I think PetCo sold us a male guinea pig telling us it was female ..Because it is chasing the other female around trying to mount her ..Sooooo I either have a lesbian guinea or THEY SOLD ME A MALE!!!! OMG ..I will smooth trip if this is true ...Everyone pray that I just have a freaky guinea pig and it it not male ..lol

Good Morning :)

Well all is going well in the storm household ..lol I just got done taking everything out of the fridge and bleaching it down ...Man I need to do that more often .It was nasty ,embarassing ..I also cleaned the silverware drawer and bleached the drawer caddy ..I am going bleach crazy today ..lol You know I have tried so many cleaners .Some smell really good, and clean ,but it never feels as clean as something cleaned in bleach to me .Anyone else have that same issue?The guest room is coming along .Gups mom is turning her guest room into her home office and rearranging furniture from room to room ,so she gave us the bed from it and the dresser from her bedroom ..Woot !! My mother- in- law rocks !! Now my mom won't be sleeping on an air mattress ...lol Anyway I just thought I would give the ones that come and visit me regularly an update ..I thank everyone for your patience and I promise I will be to see all of you very soon .
I am off to fold some laundry and dust the living room :)

Trendy Lunch ?

Well it started about two weeks ago .I started craving sushi big time .I was determined to eat some yesterday .Well we went over to his mom's to see how the painting of her new home office was going and she was hungry as well ..So John and I and her and her man all went out for a nice dinner...A dinner minus sushi ..lol Soooooo today for lunch I got to craving it again and went to the Super Target .A friend of mine told me they had great sushi and man was she right ..It was awesome .I got a dragon roll .Oh to verify something ...I eat fake sushi ..lol Not the raw fish kind .( I tried the raw kind once and it taste like chewing a fishy rubberband ) The only way I will eat it is if it has imitation crab meat in it .Anyway this one had the crab and carrots and avocado ..Oh man I am getting hungry again thinking about it .Anyway ,after getting my sushi I swung by the Starbucks that is inside the Target right as you leave ..lol A tall decaf Mocha frappachino was calling my name ...lol .I was standing at the counter ordering ,sushi in hand , and Guppy is like " I just can't eat this trendy " ..I was like "what " ..and thought about it for a second and was like .." You know it does seem kinda trendy doesn't it ..lol " ." I didn't intend for it to be ,it just kind of happened that way " . We get my frappa and head on over to Taco Cabana to get him some "not so trendy " fajita nachos ...lol I have no idea why I thought my lunch selection was blogable but hey ,what the heck right ...lol Gotta blog about something for the day .Anyway , I am off to do some housework and to watch Hitch after Gup gets back ...

Hahahaha it is so hot here I found myself today listening to "It's cold outside " by Jessica Simpson and Nick....Just to cool off ...I love that song and it reminds me of the winter and Christmas ...Maybe if I turn the air down enough I can pretend it is snowing out ...lol Well I am sorry I have been away for a few days ..I think I am so use to working and writing out notes for people to do that it carried over to home ...I wrote two pages of "honey we must do's " for Guppy and I to do before the 4th ...stuff like wash the dog ,wash the car ,scrub out the fridge , sweep down driveway ..and on and on ...lol Have I ever told you guys how very anal I am about my house ..especially when company is coming ? I like everything perfect ..having said that I am well aware that friends and family come to see you and not your house .lol I say I know that but you can not get my brain to register that if the house is not perfect everything will be ok ..lol I mean down to the most minute detail like dusting ceiling fans or wiping down around door knobs ..lol I am a freakkkkkkkkkkk ...Can anyone say OCD? I think if I would allow myself to do so I would clean constantly ...I do not of course allow that ..lol But it constantly bugs me while I am not cleaning ...Anyway enough about that ..lol
I am going to finish listening to "Let it snow " and get to checking some things off my list ....:) oh and btw I think the songs are working ...lmao it is feeling a lil cooler in here .hahahhahaha !!! Have a great weekend All !!!!

I have hijacked this site!

This is guppyman. As you may have noticed, my wife hasn't had an update since Tuesday... I figured I'd hop on and let you all know that yes, she is still around, but we don't have any time in the evenings right now. She doesn't have the luxury that I do- she can't sneak on and post from work...

We are preparing for her mom to come visit next Thursday, and getting the house ready for our annual 4th of July bar-b-q bash. So our evenings are filled with cleaning, yard work, gathering junk for a yard sale, etc... We also are trying to keep up with the amazing amout of TV shows our DVR has saved for us... ;)

Anyway- she didn't abandon ya'll... she'll be on when she can.

Yeahhhhhh I made it ....

Yeah I made it and actually got a 100% ,even through all the changes ....I was excited ,even got a high five from the store manager ....WOOT!!! I am so excited that all that lack of sleep and living at the store basically paid off ...I came home today and took a 41/2 hour nap ...lol I am hoping I wll be back to normal soon ..Now I have 9 days until my mother comes from Kentucky to visit ...She has never been to Texas ...I am super excited but have so much to do ...We throw the annual fourth of July bash at our house every year ...Last year it was like 6 days after we moved in to this new house ..Lmao That was a trick but we managed ...It still had that hideous wallpaper that is shown on Guppy's blog ...lmao And we have changed soooo much since then ..Thank God ...lol Included is an after shot of the painting we did ...We did old world Italy in the dining room instead of whatever that other was suppose to represent ..lol Anyway I am excited to finally get family here to visit ...I have been here three years and have had none come visit yet ...Luckily we have been back home like 3 times .Ok well I am still sleepy and my thoughts are going all over the place and I feel like I am rambling ...Plus I am starving and need to run to the grocery and pick something up to cook ...A woman's job is never done ...

MONDAY!!!!!!

Well It is definitely a Monday in every sense of the word..lol
Work was a NIGHTMARE..lol I work in the back office of a major retail store and we are having a quarterly inspection tomorrow ..Well as far as my daily routine and documentation I keep that very up to date ..WELLLLLLL They decide to let us know THE DAY BEFORE the inspection that the company is wanting things done differently ...Isn't that lovely??? ..So I went in this morning at 7 am, got home at 5:30 pm, and I am going back in at about 7:30 ..working for a few hours and getting back up at 3 am to be there before 5am ...I am going to be worn out ...Hopefully I know my butt from a hole in the ground tomorrow during the whole thing ..lol
Anyway wish me luck ...Since I will not be here tonight I will apologize for not doing my round of visits to you all :( ...I will try and catch up very soon ....For now I will post some pics of my beautiful niece from my wedding ....also since Fathers Day was just yesterday I decided to throw in one of my Daddy with her ....Hope you all are having a better monday ..lol

I was surfing around on the Bo Bice site that I have under my links, and found a link to his bands (Sugarmoney) site ..While browsing around I found a little tiny button that said e-mail Bo ..I got all giddy for a sec thinking I had just struck gold then realized it is probably some president of the band fan club answering e-mails ...God am I always this skeptical ? Let the game begin:

1. I miss playing with my cousins ..I was the only girl amongst all the cousins ..lol So we played Hot Wheels ,Star Wars ,kill the man ( kind of like tackle football ) ,We would play Horse and Pig with the basketball ,We would use a tape recorder and one person would be the news reporter and the other like a surfer that was being interviewed ..lol My mom still has those tapes .They are too funny .One of them has me talking like a Valley Girl ...lol I miss climbing trees and hanging out in them for hours ...

2. I have to agree with the missing the house part .I miss coming home from school ,changing in to my swim suit and swimming until dark ...I grew up in Vegas so that was a relief from the heat . I miss hanging out with my best friend Jenn ..I swear we were inseparable for years ..I miss sleep overs and late night phone calls ..

3. I miss the anticipation of everything ..Like birthdays and holidays ..I remember looking so forward to all those things and counting them down .I remember it seemed like they were sooooooo far away from each other ..Now the years just fly ..I miss living for Saturday Morning cartoons ..I would wake up and get me a bowl of cereal and veg out on cartoons all morning ..( until mom and dad got up and going and made us go outside and play ..lol )

4. I miss getting my aunts ,uncles and cousins together and all the families going to Lake Mead to camp and fish all weekend .I miss staying the weekends in Boulder City with my sister (best friend ) Ebony and her parents ..We would take the boat out and just get lost on the lake for the whole weekend ..We would ride out to the middle of the lake and jump in and swim all day ..Then at night we would pull into a cove and camp out ..It was awesome .I miss making up dances to our favorite songs ;like Abracadabra by Steve Miller Band ...



5.I miss baking with my mother. She taught me at a very early age how to make snickerdoodles ..By the time I was 8 years old I could make them totally by myself except turning the stove on and actually putting them in and taking them out ..I still love those today ..MMMMMMMMM I am getting hungry ..I can still smell them cooking ..:)

Yeah it is Wednesday ,which means the week is half over now ...Yeahhhhh!!!! Thank God that the week is getting better for us ...We now know the extent of all the damage and are steadily working to fix it ..You will be happy to know that the is back on ...woooo hoooo!!! Well" I" am happy to know that anyway ...lmao I promise all of you that have been coming and reading daily and posting I will be a much better blogger and get to everyone again soon ...It has just been a crazy beginning of the week ...Thank you all again for the kind words and the advice :) You guys all Rock !!!

Thank you all for the kind words ..It has been an emotional rollercoaster as I am sure a few of you know ...I am glad to know I am not the only person in the world with money issues ..lol Well I must clear something up for someone that left me a comment ...I Do not ever wish to sell my hubby nor was my intention to bash him in my blog ..I was frustrated and needed an outlet ..I couldn't call anyone seeing as the phone got dissconnected ..lol Anyway ..The dust has settled a bit and I know almost what the damage is ( it's not so pretty ) .I think the thing that bothers me most of all ...well actually I don't think ,I know the most disturbing thing to me was the dishonesy ..The fact that he kept me totally in the dark for like 5 months all the while he was doing alot of damage to not just him ...I won't go into anymore detail than that ....I do however feel blessed to have him and I took my vows very seriously ...for better or worse I am here ..I do now however have the sole resposibilty of ALL finances and money ..He will now be getting a very small allowance ..lol Ohhhhh if you guys only knew the damage ...Anyway I do thank all of you again for the very supportive words ..It is good to know people out there have been through the same or similar and actually care ...

Husband FOR SALE!!!

Today is a bad day :( ...I try and stay positive most the time even through trails ,but today I am having a hard time doing that .I am not sure if I will get to post a happier post later or not ..Guppy has to come home and discuss some things with me ..Apparently he has jacked up some finances ..GRRRRRRRRRR!!!! Have I ever mentioned that he is a wonderful man but very very shitty with money ?I am thinking that after tonight ..I will be in charge of all the money in this household ..What do you do when your husband seems to be perfect for you besides the fact that he sucks with money? I am lost here..All I know is I can not keep having him mess with our finances like he does ..He keeps it from me too ...I mean I am his wife ..I should be the ONE person he can confide in about anything right ? I always thought so, but apparently I am badly mistaken ...Sorry I made this into a bitch fest but I am severely frustrated and needed an outlet ...Anyway ...I am off to wait for him to arrive home and tell me how bad the damage is ..Ya'll keep us in your thoughts and prayers ...

Well we went to the wedding and the pants were ok ..I was not the most under dressed there ..yeah :) It was a beautiful ceremony and I am glad we went ..They both looked great.I can only hope thay we would be that in love still after 20 years of marriage ...Also after the wedding we went and watched greased pig races ..Yes that is what you read ...Greasy pig races ..lol They soaped em up and had teams of three or four ( depending on their size ) racing to get ahold of them and pin em ..lol It was a ball to watch ..I will have to post some pics when we get them ...For now this is all I have to post from the wedding so far :)

I mean come on people , really ....

I just have to rant about a few things to get them off my chest ...
Someone please ...PLEASE tell me why women insist on peeing all over the seats in public bathrooms and not cleaning it up ...There is nothing worse then having to peee very much badly....searching a place for the bathroom ...standing in line doing the pee pee dance only to get in the damn stall and have to clean it from top to bottom before relieving yourself ..GRRRRRRRRR why why why ..Do these people do this at home ? I have yet to go into someones home and see urine and other unmentionables all over the place ...What is the friggin deal ...I am so annoyed by that ..can you tell?

Also Guppy and I are "supposed" to be in a wedding tommorrow ..His father and stepmom are renewing there vows ..They never had an actual wedding and were inspired by ours to do so ..Well we have known about this wedding since about December of last year right? ....right!!! ....Well she informs us like three weeks ago that we are actually in it ...That all the kids and their spouces and the grandkids are playing a part in it ...ok well nice to ask or even let us know this in advance there .....lmao I mean really ..Ok so I am ok with that part, even with short notice, right ..BUTTTTTTTTTT!!!!.... she goes on to tell us what we must wear now ...A blue dress is what I get told ..first of all blue is not my color ...second of all I am not a dress kinda woman ..lol so I tell her I would wear a blue dress shirt and black dress pants and my heels ..NOooo she says ...Well ya know what? ....Too bad I am wearing the pants..lol ..I refuse to go out on such short notice and purchase a dress I would never wear again ..Is that to bitchy of me ? I mean let me know IF I am wrong here ..I think it is great that they are doing this ...wonderful they are involving family ..but earlier communication would have been nice ...Also the rehearsal was tonight and do you think any of us were told when ,where ,how ? Lmao NOPE !!! This ought to be interesting to say the very least ..Lol I will have to keep ya posted ....

LMAO ..I have asked my husband on several occasions to tell me what famous women he thinks are hot ...The first one out of his mouth everytime is the band geek on American Pie ,Alyson Hannigan ...I have always been like ..ewwwww she is dorky ..I mean most men think people like Pam Anderson and women like that are hot ...no not my hubby ..he likes the nerdy ones ..( note to self ...really look into how nerdy you look these days ... ) Anyway ..something got me thinking about doing a post to see how many other womens husbands ,boyfriends , or significant other thinks she is hot ..I decided to post pics incase some of you have been living in a cave and do not know who I am talking about ...lol Well as I went to looking for pics I disovered how very pretty she has become ..I was amazed ...All this time he seen through her nerdiness to her real beauty ...I am so proud of him now ..lol Anyway here are some before and after shots of her ...So you guys let me know if you know anyone that has thought she was hot since the first movie ...or even just now ...

Lil Miss Independent

Well yesterday was the first day since I started this thing that I didn't quite make it on ..Two of Guppy's cousins came in to town from Denver and Dallas so we went out to dinner...There were 16 people that went out to eat last night ..lol That was a huge damn table lemme tell you ...The waitress did awesome considering ..lol anyway when we first got there they had all the kids ( 6 of them ) across from all the adults ..Which was good for us ,that meant we could keep an eye on lil one ..Well one of his cousins decided that all the adults couldn't talk that way ( did I mention it was a huge friggin table ?) So we did some arranging and our lil Heather ended up at the head of the table down on the lil kids corner ...Oh my !!! I was a lil nervous because she is very independent (except at bedtime..lol she becomes daddies lil baby all the sudden ..lol ) Anyway ..She tells one of her new found friends (one of his cousins daughters ) That she can order her specialty if she would like ...She goes on to say that it is a Sprite with three cherry's and sugar around the rim ...lol She is a mess I tell you ..Anyway the drinks finally come and Heather's has no sugar around the rim ..Well she lets the waitress know this right away ...After the waitress lets her know she can't take the drink back up to the bar to get sugar, now Heather just looks disgusted ..( where does she get this from?) So anyway she proceeds to order spaghetti without meatballs ...And of course it arrives with meatballs ...she puts her first two fingers to her lips and poofs her cheeks out like "yuck" and says (while waving her hands ) I ordered "NO" meatballs ..I was mortified but so far down the table I would have had to yell loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear me to correct her and tell her to speak nicer to the lady .Well she gobbles up the dinner and apparently orders more ( without us having a clue ) She walks down to us and says "Can I have seconds " We tell her no ...to finish her drink and give it a few minutes so she will feel a little more full ( plus we knew Gramma would be getting her the famous HUGE piece of chocolate cake ) .Well she says ..Oh well I ordered seconds already ...we proceed to tell her you don't just do that blah..blah..blah...she is not at the house blah ..blah ..blahh..Someone else was paying blah..blah..and out comes the waitress with her second HUGE bowl of spaghetti ..We are watching and Heather says "I've changed my mind now " I wanted to crawl under the table and die ...That time I did get loud and told the waitress to leave it anyway ...OMG I have no idea what possesses this child to do some of the stuff she does while at a restaurant ...Never again will we sit that far from her until she is a lil older...lol Other than that we had a great time ..I had to leave the "party " early because I was not feeling well,but I am glad that Guppy got to see some far away family ...

Drama UPDATE!!!!

Well all is well this morning now ..The girls got up and each got baths ...Luckily my daughter had some clothes she has outgrown because the lil neighbor girl did not bring any ..So we got her freshened up and fed .( I made em some yummy oatmeal with lots of butter and brown sugar ) It was a hit ...So with full bellies and clean lil bodies the girls played dress up and house ...They cleaned the room up and her momma finally came to get her ..( she had sent the boyfriends daughter over earlier when they were still asleep ) but we were not about to send her back home without the mom...We did not see her car and I told the mom that there was no way I was realeasing this child to anyone but her ...Anyway ..the mom was at work and all was welll ...We were glad to see the mom was ok as well ...Although hung over ..lol Wondering now if maybe in her drunken stage she realized she just needed a babysitter ?...Who knows ...Anyway the girl was safe for a night and that is what matters .....

Oh the drama ....

Well last night was very eventful ..lol to say the least .We were well into our evening ...Had just settled down pretty much and got comfy when the door bell rings ...It is our next store neighbor( whom we barely know besides waving hello and goodbye occasionally ) with her 8 year old daughter complete with blanket and pillow ..Hmmmmmmmm you say ..lol yeah me too ...Well anyway seems that her live in boyfriend likes to beat on her ( she had a black eye and reeked of alcohol ) .So she wanted to know if her daughter could stay here for the night because they ( her and mr. not -so -wonderful ) were about to throw down .Of course we were like "sure ,not a problem " .The woman left from here ..loaded up the teens in the house and I have not seen her car yet ...I am starting to wonder if she is coming back ..lol jk .I have no idea how long we have an extra 8 year old ,but our daughter seems to like it .Heather is an only child and welcomed the company of someone her age ..I really wonder about this kid though because she is very skiddish of touch ..Meaning when the girls were about to go to bed the lil girl told Heather ( ours ) not to hold her if they were going to sleep in the same bed ...Well we read to ours and tuck her in every night still ...Heather being the nurturing sole that she is went to tuck this girl in and she was like " hey " like get off me kinda thing ...That really makes me wonder ...Anyway one thing this lil experience has taught me is that our child is a breeze ...a very well mannered kid ..So if you are thinking your kids are heathens just get someone else's for a night.lol especially one you don't really know that well .Not that this little girl is bad per say, it is just that I realized how anal I really am .I like things so so and in our household we are very routine .When the routine is broken I get aggitated ..Heather falls right to sleep .We were up an extra two hours last night with about 25 excuses from the new little one to prevent having to sleep AHHHHHHHHH ( pulls hair out ) . We are hoping the mom comes back soon ..We are starting to worry ,wonder if she is ok . .......Anyway ..I will stop the babbling now .....

Wild Hair ....

I found these pics of my wild hair adventure ..I actually really liked the color but it was way to hard to maintain ..It took me four and a half hours and a sore scalp from the bleach /peroxide they used to get the blonde that it was not worth it ...lol what do you think ?
