I mean come on people , really ....

I just have to rant about a few things to get them off my chest ...
Someone please ...PLEASE tell me why women insist on peeing all over the seats in public bathrooms and not cleaning it up ...There is nothing worse then having to peee very much badly....searching a place for the bathroom ...standing in line doing the pee pee dance only to get in the damn stall and have to clean it from top to bottom before relieving yourself ..GRRRRRRRRR why why why ..Do these people do this at home ? I have yet to go into someones home and see urine and other unmentionables all over the place ...What is the friggin deal ...I am so annoyed by that ..can you tell?

Also Guppy and I are "supposed" to be in a wedding tommorrow ..His father and stepmom are renewing there vows ..They never had an actual wedding and were inspired by ours to do so ..Well we have known about this wedding since about December of last year right? ....right!!! ....Well she informs us like three weeks ago that we are actually in it ...That all the kids and their spouces and the grandkids are playing a part in it ...ok well nice to ask or even let us know this in advance there .....lmao I mean really ..Ok so I am ok with that part, even with short notice, right ..BUTTTTTTTTTT!!!!.... she goes on to tell us what we must wear now ...A blue dress is what I get told ..first of all blue is not my color ...second of all I am not a dress kinda woman ..lol so I tell her I would wear a blue dress shirt and black dress pants and my heels ..NOooo she says ...Well ya know what? ....Too bad I am wearing the pants..lol ..I refuse to go out on such short notice and purchase a dress I would never wear again ..Is that to bitchy of me ? I mean let me know IF I am wrong here ..I think it is great that they are doing this ...wonderful they are involving family ..but earlier communication would have been nice ...Also the rehearsal was tonight and do you think any of us were told when ,where ,how ? Lmao NOPE !!! This ought to be interesting to say the very least ..Lol I will have to keep ya posted ....

  3. Hello from Michele's M&G. People can be so very gross, can't they?

  4. I'd wear the pants, and just to make it sound like I 'tried', I'd probably say I tried to find a blue dress but couldn't on such short notice.

  5. It is a rite of passage. You have to wear the dress. Because if your family is anything like my wife's family, it will come back to bite you in the petutie years from now. Plus, us guys like to see the gams of all the chicks.

  6. Nope. With that short notice, all bets are off. They should have no expectations. Besides, that is so not what's important about the day, so she should really get off the dress thing and focus on what matters.

  9. Woah a days notice? She is lucky you agreed to be in it. What if you didn't have the money in 24 hours to get a dress? What if you couldn't get to a store before it closed in 24 hours? Sheesh she should be happy you said yes in such a short notice! As long as you don't show up in jeans with holes, sneakers, have a smoke dangling from your lip, and lime green hair twists in she should be happy your gonna be there. :oÞ

  10. I agree that short notice makes everything else null and void! And really, don't buy a dress if you aren't going to wear it again...what a waste that would be! Let us know how it goes...

  11. I am not sure why you are asking us it seems pretty simple.....wear the pants....they can not expect you to go out on such short notice...I wonder what people are thinking sometimes:)

It sound like you already knew the answer to your question and it looks like almost everyone agrees that pants are the way to go with it.

    Good Luck:)

  12. Wear the pants!! I also refuse to buy clothes I will only wear once (ok, wedding dress was one thing...lol but that's IT..hahah)!

I agree 100% with you on the whole bathroom scene!! At work, I am the only female upstairs, so I do't have to share the bathroom. It stays clean. Every now and again we'll have a company meeting and poeple from across the country will come. They use the upstairs conference room, and hence use MY (haha) bathroom. I have been amazed at the mess these woman leave in there. Sometimes I have to go downstairs, cause it is too gross after they have been in it! UGH!!!!!!!! Big time pet peeve for me!! LOL

  15. There needs to be some compromise here. Since it's very short notice she shouldn't expect you to go out of your way and wear a dress, you should wear the pants, what ever makes you feel comfortable. As everyone else had said, she should be lucky you agreed to be part of the wedding.

    Good luck :)

  16. I'd wear the pants. She can't expect you to go out and buy a one-time-only dress on such short notice.

And pee is disgusting in the ladies bathroom...but have you seen some of the "other" stuff women leave lying around in there? TOTALLY GROSS.
